吁请藏人再勿自焚: 压迫再大也要留住生命

藏人自焚的消息接踵传来，已达二十六人！次次令人悲痛欲绝。
第十六位自焚者——安多果洛的索巴仁波切的遗言讲到：“如佛陀当年舍身饲虎一般，其他牺牲的藏人同胞也是如我一般，为了真理和自由而舍生取义。”
这是举世罕见的奉献！足以对藏民族产生经久弥远的影响，我们将永远铭记。
自焚表达了藏人的意志。二十六起自焚， 已经表达得足够充分。但是表达意志不是最终目的，而是要把意志变成现实。
只有活着的生命，才能把意志变成现实。如果再继续自焚，每一个生命都是不可挽回的损失。
因此，我们请求，从现在开始，不要再自焚。每一个藏人都要珍惜生命，坚强地活下来。再大的压迫之下，我们的生命都是重要的，都是需要留住的。自焚本身改变不了我们的现实，恨我们的人私下诅咒“烧光才好”，改变现实是靠我们活着去奋斗和推动，是靠活着的我们去做水滴汇成大海的努力，是靠千千万万不死的藏人才能传承我们民族的精神和血脉！
我们呼吁，藏地的僧侣、长老、知识分子和民众，请守护你们的同修、信徒、乡亲和家人，避免再发生自焚。
我们促请，与藏人有关的组织机构，马上投入行动，把遏制当前自焚扩大和加速的趋势作为当务之急。
我们相信，藏人的未来，唯有靠藏人自己！

བོད་མིས་རང་ལུས་མེར་བསྲེགས་བཏང་བའི་གནས་ཚུལ་གཅིག་རྗེས་གཉིས་མཐུད་ཀྱིས་ཐོན་ཡོང་། ད་བར་དུ་སྐྱ་སེར་ཕོ་མོ་ཉེར་དྲུག་ལ་སླེབས་ཤིང་། ཐེངས་རེ་རེར་བཟོད་གླགས་མེད་པའི་མེ་ལྕེའི་ཚ་བསྲེག་ཁྲོད་བཞུད་སོང་།
ཐེངས་བཅུ་དྲུག་པར་རང་ལུས་མེར་བསྲེག་གནང་མཁན་ནི་ཨ་མདོ་མགོ་ལོག་ས་ཆའི་བླ་མ་བསོད་བྷ་ཚང་ཡིན་ལ། ཁོང་གི་ཁ་ཆེམས་ནང་དུའང་འདི་ལྟར་བཀོད་ཡོད་དེ། ༼སྔོན་ཆད་བདག་ཅག་གི་སྟོན་པས་རང་གི་སྐུ་ལུས་སྟག་མོར་སྦྱིན་པ་བཏང་བའི་ལོ་རྒྱུས་“སྟག་མོ་ལུས་སྦྱིན་”ནང་བཞིན། རང་ལུས་མེར་བསྲེག་བཏང་བའི་རང་རིགས་སྤུན་ཟླ་དེ་ཚོ་ཡང་ང་དང་འདྲ་བར་བདེན་དོན་དང་རང་དབང་གི་ཆེད་དུ་རང་སྲོག་སྙིང་སྟོབས་ལ་བརྗེ་བ་ཤ་སྟག་ཡིན།༽
འདི་ནི་སྲིད་ན་དཀོན་པའི་སྦྱིན་པའི་བསྔོ་བ་ཞིག་ཡིན། འདིས་འབྱུང་འགྱུར་བོད་མི་རིགས་ཀྱི་སྤྱི་ཚོགས་ཧྲིལ་བོར་སྲུབ་ཐབས་མེད་པའི་ཤུགས་རྐྱེན་ཐེབས་ངེས་ལ། ང་ཚོས་དུས་དང་རྣམ་པ་ཀུན་ཏུ་བརྗེད་མི་སྲིད་པའི་བྱ་གཞག་ཞིག་ཀྱང་ཡིན།
རང་ལུས་མེར་སྲེག་བཏང་བ་དེས་བོད་མིའི་མངོན་འདོད་མཚོན་ཡོད་ལ། མེར་བསྲེགས་བཏང་བའི་མི་ཉེར་དྲུག་དེས་དྲག་གནོན་དང་མནར་གཅོད་འོག་གི་སྡུག་ཡུས་ཆ་ཚང་བརྗོད་ཡོད། འོན་ཀྱང་མངོན་འདོད་ཙམ་བརྗོད་པས་དམིགས་ཡུལ་དང་འདོད་འདུན་འགྲུབ་པ་ཞིག་མིན་པས། མངོན་འདོད་དེ་ཉིད་དོན་དངོས་དང་དངོས་ཡོད་འཚོ་བར་བསྒྱུར་རྒྱུ་དེའོ།
དེ་ལྟ་ན་ཚེ་སྲོག་གསོན་པོས་ད་གཟོད་འདོད་འདུན་དག་སྒྲུབ་ཐུབ་ལ་འཚོ་བ་དངོས་ལ་བསྒྱུར་པའི་ནུས་པ་ཡོད། གལ་ཏེ་ད་དུང་མུ་མཐུད་དུ་རང་ལུས་མེར་བསྲེགས་ན་ཚེ་སྲོག་རེ་རེ་ནི་ཕྱིར་ཡོང་མེད་པའི་མི་རིགས་ཀྱི་གྱོང་གུད་ཡིན།

Appeal to Tibetans To Cease Self-Immolation: Cherish Your Life in a Time of Oppression

Reports on self-immolation committed by Tibetans have kept coming out. One after the other, there has been twenty-six cases. These reports make one feel grief-stricken!
Sobha Rinpoche from Amdo Golok, the sixteenth one who set himself on fire, left behind these final words:
"I am sacrificing my body – just as the Buddha bravely fed his body to a hungry tigress. As I am doing, other Tibetan heroes have sacrificed their lives for the same cause of truth and freedom."
Such a dedication is rare in the world! It will have a memorable impact on Tibetans. We will remember it forever.
Expressed through these self-immolations is the will of Tibetans. Twenty-six cases make it clear what Tibetans have wanted to articulate. Yes, articulation of one’s well cannot be an ultimate goal. The will has to be put into practice, transforming into reality.
Only by staying alive can the will become a reality. As long as self-immolation continues, every life would become another irredeemable loss.
Therefore, we plead for an immediate stop of self-immolation. Tibetans must cherish life and live with resilience. Regardless of the magnitude of oppression, our life is important, and we have to cherish it. Self-immolation in itself cannot change our reality; those who hate us can curse us in private – “it’s great for you all to be burned to death”. Chances to change our reality depend on us staying alive to struggle and to push forward; staying alive allows us to gather the strength as drops of water to form a great ocean. It depends on thousands and more living Tibetans to pass on our nation's spirit and blood!
We appeal to Tibet's monks, the elderly, intellectuals, officials, and the masses to protect your fellow devotees, believers, fellow villagers, and families. Please do prevent the reoccurrence of self-immolation.
We urge organizations concerned with the Tibet issue to immediately take actions to constrain the self-immolations. The trend deserves to be treated as a matter of utmost urgency.
We believe that Tibet’s future can only depend on our own!
